Women's Clothing, Casual Does Not Equal Sloppy

One of my favorite There is such a huge selection out there of casual clothes that are well made, well cut, clothes that are cute and flattering. Because really, it's not a black-and-white choice between "dressing up" and "being sloppy," is it? I am actually very grateful to be living in a time when I get to wear clothes that have stretch, that are not rigid, to wear comfy jeans and T-shirts and cute day dresses - I get to be comfortable AND look good.

And so, while so many blog posts and articles have been talking about how we have become too casual, how women don't know how to dress up anymore, I have to disagree. it was beautiful, for sure, but it wasn't very comfortable. Well, maybe you don't remember, but we've all seen the photos, and most of us have seen the TV show "Mad Men." Back then, people used to really dress up - hats, those stiff little woolen suits, pointy shoes with heels... Remember how people used to dress back in the fifties?

Today, there are so many options when it comes to wearing items that are not just easy, relaxed and comfy - but also look good. But the choice to wear casual clothes does not equal a choice to let oneself go. Some women do wear shapeless T-shirts, baggy sweatpants and other types of clothes that are very comfortable, but also quite unflattering. Now, it's true that some types of casual clothes are not very fla
